The Ark Pod is an object that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. It is a vehicle utilized by B.A.R.F. to transport Badniks.

Description[]

Appearance[]

The Ark Pod is a large, flying vehicle, much larger than the Barfmobile. Like the aforementioned vehicle, the Ark Pod is yellow in color. Its design resembles a fish, having fin-like protrusions for its wings and has a face resembling that of a shark's.

Features and traits[]

The Ark Pod is capable of flight and can transport multiple passengers. A key feature is its the ability to attach itself to the Barfmobile. When the Barfmobile and Ark Pod are attached, Cam and Bert can operate the combined transport from the Barfmobile but it will be the Ark Pod's thrusters that are used.[1]

History[]

The Seven Badniks[]

Following Dr. Robotnik's orders, B.A.R.F. took the Ark Pod to the Palmtree Panic Zone to transport the local Badniks to the Green Hill Zone.[1] After B.A.R.F. convinced the Badniks to board the Ark Pod, the vehicle took them to the Green Hill Zone, where the new Badniks claimed the Green Hill Zone and destroyed many native Badniks. Having no choice, B.A.R.F. evacuated Green Hill Zone Badniks to the Ark Pod and took off.[2]

After a quick flight to the Miracle Planet and back, B.A.R.F. took the Ark Pod to the Badnik Research and Development Facility to create the Seven Badniks.[3] The Ark Pod would later drop the Seven into the Green Hill Zone, where they rounded the rebel Badniks into the ship for B.A.R.F. to fly them back to the Palmtree Panic Zone.[4]
