Bucky is a character that appears in the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog television series. He is an infant anthropomorphic beaver, and the son of Cleaver Beaver and brother of Becky and Chucky.
History[]
Bucky was born to Cleaver Beaver and his wife. In his parents' care, Bucky and his siblings were rather difficult for their parents to control, forcing them near a nervous breakdown. Many tried to control Bucky, Becky and Chucky, but all failed.[1]
After Beaverville was saved from destruction by Dr. Robotnik by Sonic, Tails made himself and Sonic babysitters for Becky, Bucky and Chucky while their father prepared a party in Sonic's honor, on the grounds that Sonic loved "babes" (which Sonic meant as in girls). At first, Becky, Bucky and Chucky were sound asleep when the duo came, but they soon woke up and drove Sonic and Tails crazy as they tried to take care of them. Eventually, Sonic took the trio of baby beavers out for a walk, but ended up being kidnapped by Scratch and Grounder as a part of their plan to lure Sonic into a trap. While transporting them onboard a blimp however, Bucky, Becky and Chucky began messing around with Scratch and Grounder, resulting in them taking over the blimp and making it crash into Dr. Robotnik's fortress. Inside the fortress, the babies messed with Robotnik by playing with his Reversible Melto Freezo Ray before the doctor finally detained them.[1]
As according to Robotnik's plan, Sonic and Tails were trapped in an inescapable pit when the doctor used Bucky, Becky and Chucky as bait. When Robotnik then left to try destroying Beaverville again, Bucky and his siblings broke out of their cage to save Sonic and managed to free him with Robotnik's Melto Freezo Ray. Unwilling to leave the babies alone, Sonic and Tails then took the babies with them to stop Robotnik despite Sonic's dismay. When they found Robotnik and his drilling machine to flood Beaverville by breaking a dam, Sonic was incapacitated by an electric shock, so Bucky, Becky and Chucky rose to his aid. The trio got into Robotnik's machine where they drove Robotnik, Scratch and Grounder to surrender with their antics, saving the town. Sonic then got Bucky, Becky and Chucky back home just before their father returned. Bucky, Becky and Chucky were soon after then placed in Sonic's care again for the weekend by their father so he and his wife could get a break.[1]
Personality[]
Much like his siblings, Bucky is energetic, playful and extremely mischievous which tends to get on the nerve of other people. After spending time with Sonic, he picked up some of his behavior which include his catchphrases and his go-to attitude.[1]
Powers and abilities[]
As a beaver, Bucky possesses a strong bite and durably teeth which lets him chew through wood and even thin metal with ease.[1]
