Billy the Kit is a character that appears in Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. It is a Badnik created by Dr. Ivo Robotnik and a member of the doctor's Despicable Desperadoes.
Appearance[]
Billy the Kit is a beige humanoid robot with a cylinder-shaped head, a curved nose, sharp teeth and slit-like black eyes. The top of its head is flat and smoke emerges from it. As attire, it wears a red shirt, black gloves and vest, a thin light blue bolo tie around its neck, blue pants which are held up a black belt with a gray fastener and brown boots.
History[]
Billy the Kit was built by Dr. Ivo Robotnik to help him take over Tranquil Gulch by disposing of Sonic who at the time served as the town's sheriff. Forming the Despicable Desperadoes with Robotnik and four other robots, Billy and its group confronted Sonic and Tails in Tranquil Gulch. When they attacked them however, Sonic and Tails ran away, forcing Billy and its group to split up and find them.[1]
Powers and abilities[]
Having been programmed to shoot fast and at Sonic, Billy the Kit was a skilled gunman.[1]
Weapons[]
Billy the Kit uses a handheld gun which can shoot small laser blasts.
Trivia[]
- Billy the Kit's name is a reference to the famous cowboy Billy the Kid.
- Additionally, "Kit" refers to robotics/computers.
- Billy is the only member of the Despicable Desperados Sonic did not face in "Magnificent Sonic". However, it did appear in the episode's Sonic Sez segment where it came out of the local saloon and shot at Sonic. It missed though and Sonic shot back and hit a pillar on the saloon's porch, making the roof of the building come down on Billy. It emerged the wreckage though, albeit battered, and took its leave.[1]
- He is also the only robot member of the Despicable Desperados who was not destroyed.
