Passing through the fire hoop will give you a nice reward of Rings! Do you have the guts to go for it?

Dr. Eggman, Shadow the Hedgehog[1]

The fire hoop,[1][2] also known as the hoop of fire[3] (火の輪[4] hi no wa?, lit. "ring of fire"), is a gimmick that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. A controversial object, it can both grant and take away Rings.

Description[]

The fire hoops, as their name implies, are giant floating hoops whose rims are set ablaze.

Overview[]

In Shadow the Hedgehog, fire hoops appear only in Circus Park, where they can act as both obstacles and beneficial gimmicks. As obstacles, they will harm the player if they touch the rim's flames. However, they can also reward the player with five Rings if the player manages to jump through the center of said hoop.
