Chassis James is a character that appears in Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. It is a Badnik created by Dr. Ivo Robotnik and a member of the doctor's Despicable Desperadoes.
Appearance[]
Chassis James is a humanoid robot with a round torso, no visible neck and pinchers for hands. It also has black slit-like pupils with pale yellow sclera. As attire, it wears a brown cowboy hat, a cerulean scarf across its face, a sleeveless orange shirt, a green-brown vest and green-brown cowboy boots with yellow spurs.
History[]
Chassis James was built by Dr. Ivo Robotnik to help him take over Tranquil Gulch by disposing of Sonic who at the time had taken the job as the town's sheriff. Forming the Despicable Desperadoes with Robotnik and four other robots, James and its group confronted Sonic and Tails in Tranquil Gulch. When they attacked them however, Sonic and Tails ran away, forcing James and its group to split up and find them. During the hunt, James and DOS Holiday cornered Sonic, but when they tried to shoot him, Sonic jumped out of the way so they ended up shooting each other, leaving themselves with so many holes in them that they literally turned into Swiss cheese.[1]

Having been programmed to shoot fast and at Sonic, Chassis James was a skilled gunman.[1]
Weapons[]
Chassis James used a handheld gun which could shoot small laser blasts.
Trivia[]
- Chassis James' name is a reference to the famous cowboy Jesse James.
- Additionally, "Chassis" refers to objects of the same name which are internal frameworks that support man-made objects.
