Chrysanthemum is very tall and stocky for a female member of Cosmo's species and possesses dull peach skin, green eyes with light orchid eyeshadow and one short eyelash on each one, and short brown hair with two bangs and a pair of light brown rose-like flower buds held by golden hair ties. For attire, she wears a gray triangular necklace, a violet coat with light violet trim at the bottom and cuffs, a pale gray petal-like skirt with light violet tips, a yellow amulet, pale gray tights and violet ballerina flats.[1]

Long ago, Chrysanthemum lived on Green Gate. When her planet got into a war with a hostile enemy and it became apparent that her species was doomed to destruction one way or the other if they stayed, Chrysanthemum came with Earthia when the latter planned to have their species evacuate their planet and look for a new home.[2]

Chrysanthemum appears to have a good heart, agreeing with Earthia when she suggested to evacuate their planet.[2]
Chrysanthemum was never named in the Japanese original version of Sonic X. It was only given in the English dub.
The unknown female that resembles Chrysanthemum escaping with the other people of Cosmo's species.
In "Cosmic Crisis", a very similar female from Cosmo's species to Chrysanthemum appeared in the flashbacks during the time Cosmo was explaining to Sonic's friends the Metarex's ambition to rule the galaxy. Though, it is debatable whether that person was truly her.
