Invulnerable ambush fire spitters.

— Description, Sonic the Hedgehog Encyclo-speed-ia

The Dragogo[1] (ドラゴゴ[2]?) is an enemy that appears in Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a mass-produced, dragon-based Badnik created by Dr. Eggman.

Appearance[]

The Dragogos resemble serpents with dragon features. Their bodies each consists of a single string of floating blue orbs, all of them having a gray underside and curved yellow spikes on the back. Their heads are also a blue orb, but possess a flat gray beak with fangs and cartoonish eyes. They also have curved yellow spikes on top of their heads which resemble Mohawks.

Overview[]

In Sonic Labyrinth, the Dragogos appear as enemies where they exclusively appear in Labyrinth of the Castle 4-3. These Badniks will only appear on the part of the ground with the moving blue fields. The Dragogos' attack patterns consist of them launching a surprise attack on the player by popping out of the ground under the player. If that fails, they will shoot fireballs in a straight direction. When they are about to emerge, their shadow can be seen moving along the ground which marks the spot where they will pop out.

The Dragogos are fully invulnerable to the player's attacks, as their head, which is a weak spot commonly seen with other segmented Badniks, are too high up for the player to reach.

Powers and abilities[]

The Dragogos are capable of spitting fireballs from their mouths. They also possess high physical durability, if not virtual invulnerability, since they are unfazed by a Spin Dash.

Trivia[]

  • The Dragogos look somewhat similar a Sandworm, only that they have a beak and are standing upright.
