The World of Monster Hunter[1] is a location that appears in the Worlds Unite crossover published by Archie Comics. It is an alternate Zone connected to the multiverses hosting Sonic's World and Mega Man's World. This world was among the many to come under threat from Sigma, forcing its inhabitants to rise up alongside the heroes of the Unified Army.

History[]

Worlds Unite[]

Arriving in the world of Monster Hunter, the X-Hunters were preparing to set up a Unity Engine in the Ancestral Steppe, but Mega Man X and Sticks appeared and the trio prepared to fight, kicking a nearby Felyne and Palico out of their way while revealing to them that they were X-Hunters instead of Monster Hunters. Suddenly however, a Gore Magala appeared and easily destroyed the X-Hunters. X prepared to face the Gore Magala to protect the Felynes, but Sticks tried to talk with it, which somehow allowed her to calm the beast down convince it to attack Sigma.[1]

Trivia[]

  • This is the reality where Capcom's Monster Hunter games takes place.
  • The Felyne and Palico wear the Sonic and Mega Man DLC skins for Monster Hunter 4.
  • While the comic refers to Gore Magala as an Elder Dragon Gore Magala is actually classified as ???. This classification was given to Gore Magala due to what it was not being known at the time(it would turn out to be the immature form of the Elder Dragon Shagaru Magala, so the designation is technically correct). The official Monster Hunter books and ecological trees classify Gore Magala as an Elder Dragon.
