Professor Turtle is a character that appears in the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog television series. He is a professor who lives in Turtle Town. Being a turtle, he moves and talks very slowly.

History

TV series

Season one

One day, as Sonic and Tails were just starting to enjoy a couple of chili dogs, Professor Turtle walked by. He stopped and turned around, noticing Sonic about to take a bite into his chili dog. He told Sonic that "we're in great danger". He led Sonic to his observatory, where he showed Sonic that an asteroid is headed directly for Turtle Town. When Sonic suggested that the town be evacuated, the professor volunteered to take care of it, and walked out of the building at his slow pace. He was seen in the crowd at the Robolympics throughout the rest of the episode.
