Sega AM Research & Development No. 3 (セガ第三AM研究開発部 Sega Daisan Ē Emu Kenkyū Kaihatsu Bu?), also known as Sega AM3 and Hitmaker, was a one of the former video game developers of Sega, established together with the Sega AM5 in 1990, as AM3 was spearheaded by Tetsuya Mizuguchi. In 1998, it became a part of Hitmaker studio. It later got merged back with the other AM titled studios in 2004, leaving it to revert back to its old moniker of Sega AM3.

In between 1990 and 1998, Sega AM3 produced mostly arcade games, while also porting several of the studio's own arcade titles for the Sega Saturn. One of the first arcade titles produced by this division was for the SegaSonic the Hedgehog brand.
