The Judgmental Unrelenting Digitized Government Enforcer[1], or J.U.D.G.E.[1] is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. He was a computer program created by Dr. Ivo Robotnik to manage the government of Litigopolis.

Appearance[]

The J.U.D.G.E.'s avatar bears a large resemblance to the original Dr. Robotnik, with the only main difference being his confinement to a flat television screen. Said screen also has five letters spelling out "JUDGE" written beneath it.[1]

History[]

Past[]

The J.U.D.G.E. was created by Dr. Ivo Robotnik of Robotnik Enterprises by request of King Acorn to manage Litigopolis's government. However, upon coming online, the J.U.D.G.E. took over the entire government, replaced all the police with Echidna Troopers, instigated several strict laws, and imprisoned King Acorn for life plus 1000 years for ruler malpractice. At some point, the J.U.D.G.E. noticed Evil Sonic vandalizing Litigopolis, and recreated the Zone Portal he escaped to, and sent his Echidna Troopers through it.[1]

Law of the Land[]

The J.U.D.G.E. later held a trial for Sonic the Hedgehog, who his cops had captured, mistaking him for Evil Sonic. Ten hours later, the trial ended, with the J.U.D.G.E. allowing Sonic to be freed on bail. The J.U.D.G.E. soon began counting up the punishments for all of Sonic's crimes, but the speed at which he committed them combined with the sheer number of them caused the J.U.D.G.E. to explode from calculating it.[1]
