The Gut Buster possesses a golden cylindrical body, with what appears to be two trays attached to both its left and right sides, a pair of retractable gray and black legs, a pair of white eyes, and a white chef's hat on their head.
In Knuckles' Chaotix, Gut Busters are enemies that appear in Techno Tower. In gameplay, they slowly wander back and forth, periodically stopping and coughing a bomb vertically up into the air, and catching it again when it comes back down. As such, they are dangerous only if the player attempts to Spin Jump on them while they are launching a bomb. Otherwise, they can be defeated with the Spin Jump when not spewing bombs or with the Spin Attack or Spin Dash, upon which they will drop a Dark Ring.
