The Metal Hound is an enemy that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a mass-produced, bulldog-based Badnik model created by Eggman Nega.
Appearance[]
Metal Hounds are robotic bulldogs with a red armored body and a brown head, front legs and rear end. They wear red spiked collars around their necks and have two exhaust pipes between their shoulders.
Overview[]
In Sonic Rivals, Metal Hounds appear exclusively in Death Yard Zone. In gameplay, they patrol their starting areas until the playable character comes within their range and they attack.
