Mootant Village

Mootant Village is a location that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. It is a district of New Tek City in the Special Zone.

History

Hero Hour

Banks in Mootant Village are frequently robbed by supervillains like the Yob, and the city is protected by the superhero team known as the Zed Monkeys. However, due to the Zed Monkeys' habit of stopping for an hour to pose heroically (and, later, feel sorry for themselves) every day at ten o'clock, most criminals manage to succeed in their crimes and escape capture.

Trivia

• Mootant Village is named after the mutant subspecies from Marvel Comics' X-Men franchise. It appears to be just a name, and (aside from the residence of the Zed Monkeys) Mootant Village is a fairly ordinary district by Special Zone standards.
