The multi-colored Sonics[1] are a group that appears in the Sonic X comic series published by Archie Comics. They were evil, carbon-based clones of Sonic the Hedgehog created by Dr. Narasu in a failed attempt to turn the public against Sonic.

The S.O.N.I.C.X. devised a plan to make the public turn against Sonic the Hedgehog by creating robots that looked like Sonic to rampage through the city. However, Dr. Narasu could not properly make the clones look like Sonic due to being rushed and having a limited budget to work with. Due to this, five differently colored Sonics were made.[1]
The Color Sonic[]
After wreaking havoc upon the city, the multi-colored Sonics got the attention of Sonic himself. Sonic did not find them very strong but later realized that the copies did not care who got hurt. Miles "Tails" Prower, Knuckles the Echidna and Amy Rose then arrived to aid Sonic in combat. Sonic eventually hatched a plan to lead the clones out of the city by leading them into Dr. Eggman's base. Believing that Sonic had developed an army of himself, Eggman opened fire upon the trespassers. Sonic quickly dodged Eggman's attack, leaving the multi-colored Sonics to be destroyed.[1]
