The Detention Center
The New Mobotropolis Detention Center is a location in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series published by Archie Comics. It is New Mobotropolis' county jail and is used to hold prisoners. It is a very slim and tall building with a guard on the top of the building.
History[]
It was used to hold Mammoth Mogul, Ixis Naugus, Bean the Dynamite, Bark the Polar Bear, and Nack the Weasel after the Knothole was destroyed in order to maintain peace in New Mobotropolis. When Amadeus Prower lead half of the citizens of New Mobotropolis into a revolution for democracy to the Kingdom of Acorn, Amadeus was put inside the detention center until he was released. Later on in the comics, the five Mobians that were captured and put there had escaped the detention center, as Naugus later became king, and Bean, Fang, and Bark escaped from there sometime after a Sol Emerald was found in Mobius. When the Iron Dominion took over New Mobotropolis, they put the citizens of the city inside the detention center. Those who were put are unknown, but Dr. Eggman and Uncle Chuck were put inside there. (StH #209)
