The Predator[1] is a vehicle that appears in the Sonic Underground television series. It was a massive aircraft built by Dr. Robotnik for causing destruction and mayhem on Mobius, as well as capturing Freedom Fighters for delivery to Robotropolis.

Description[]

Appearance[]

The Predator is a large gray aircraft with several irregularly colored plates coating its hull. The rear of the Predator features a large jet engine, and a tall fin, while the front features a sloped hood. The interior of the Predator is also large enough to contain several captured mobians.[1]

Features and abilities[]

The Predator is capable of fast flight, and is armed with deadly laser cannons. It is also equipped with a Carbon-Seek unit, allowing it to detect non-roboticized mobians, and is clad in nearly impenetrable armor. Allegedly it would've become a living creature if its living brain was installed. [1]

History[]

TV series[]

Season one[]

The Predator was built by Dr. Robotnik in an attempt to to finish off the Freedom Fighters. Although the body of the Predator was already built, Robotnik intended to install a biologically created brain into it, which would assimilate into the Predator turning it into an organic being and allow it to seek out Freedom Fighters intelligently when implanted. However, before the brain could be installed in the Predator, Sonic applied a Sleeper to it, allowing the Freedom Fighters to gain control of it. Sonia would later remotely control the hijacked Predator to destroy several Swatbots, before safely landing it in a bunker in Robotropolis.[1]
