The Ricky is a creature that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. They are a race of diminutive squirrel Mobinis seen inhabiting Mobius during Operation: Clean Sweep.
Description[]
Anatomy[]
The typical Ricky resembles a brown-furred and round-shaped tree squirrel. Although classified as animals, their anatomy is slightly humanoid. They have large heads with small torsos, arms with four-fingered hands, thick yet stubby legs with long tree-toed feet, a long and bushy tail, greyish blue eyes, and triangular ears on top of their heads. Additionally, they have peach fur around their faces and on their bellies. Other features include cheek tufts, small black noses, and hair bangs on their foreheads.
History[]
When reality was reset as a result of Operation: Clean Sweep, countless Rickies were captured by Dr. Eggman to be used as power sources for his Badniks or be trapped in Prison Eggs. Several Rickies were freed by Sonic and his allies during their hunt for Eggman.[1]
