The Leaf is a character that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. He is a master thief who went on a crime spree in a very rich part of Mobius known as the Eldorado Zone.

Appearance

The Leaf is an anthropomorphic chipmunk with a large, pink nose and brown fur. For attire, the Leaf wears a green mask which covers the area around his eyes, a sleeveless, green bodysuit that covers his torso and legs, a pair of burgundy gloves, a pair of burgundy shoes with white soles and yellow stripes on the sides, and a backpack with four straps and a pair of giant leaves which allow him to fly by spinning around, making his silhouette very similar to that of Tails.

History

Fall of the Leaf

When his image was caught on a security camera, the residents of the Zone initially blamed Tails for the thefts, until Tails convinced them to let him clear his name. Tails and the residents set a trap, painting a bike frame gold and putting it in the museum as the "Golden Bike Frame of the Steptoe Zone". The Leaf fell for the ruse and was caught in the act by Tails and the residents. The Leaf flew away, and Tails followed. The Leaf's mechanical wings made him faster and more maneuverable than Tails in the air, but when their batteries ran out he began to plummet to the ground. However, Tails caught him and handed him over to the police.

Personality

The Leaf is an egomaniac, constantly bragging about his intelligence, flight-speed, and thieving skills, and claiming to be the world's greatest thief. The Leaf is also a rather nasty individual, having no qualms about stealing from others and once found it fun to watch Tails take the blame for his crimes. He is also quite greedy, aiming to get rich by stealing valuables.

Powers and abilities

Equipment

The Leaf wears a device on his back with a pair of large leaves that can spin around fast enough to propel him through the air. The Leaf's device allows him to fly even faster than Tails. However, the Leaf's flying device is battery-powered and if the batteries die, he will no longer be able to fly.
