General Rust is a character that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. It was a Trooper commanders working under Dr. Robotnik during his global rule of Mobius.
History[]
Rust was assigned alongside General Bucket to capture and enslave the entire population of the Emerald Hill Zone, following the destruction of Dr. Robotnik's Death Egg II.[1] Unfortunately, the Emerald Hill Folk had been evacuated in secret to the Mushroom Hill Zone on the Floating Island,[2] leaving Rust and Bucket forced to report back to Robotnik in his Citadel about their failures. Robotnik, furious that Sonic had thwarted his revenge, took his anger out on the two messengers, destroying the both.[1]
