Doctor Plague[1] is a character that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. He is a super-villain who lives in New Tek City in the Special Zone. He is a skilled microbiologist, able to create incredibly potent viruses, but he is also completely deranged. He also has a gang of henchmen to do his bidding.
Appearance[]
Doctor Plague is a very overweight humanoid creature with purple skin, yellow eyes with red pupils, holes in his teeth, a wide nose, a pair of bushy, red eyebrows, and messy, red hair, though the top of his head is bald. For attire, he wears a green bio-hazard suit with orange stripes, a round, glass helmet, a red belt with a round belt buckle with the nuclear radiation symbol on it and a grey pouch attached to the left, light grey boots, and light grey gloves.[1]

Past[]
In the past, Doctor Plague once fought the Chaotix. They defeated him, but he escaped being captured by them.[1]
Doomsday[]
Doctor Plague would encounter the Chaotix again, along with their ally, Sonic, when they came to thwart his attack on New Tek City. Doctor Plague's goons were defeated by Chaotix, but Plague refused to run away this time. He threatened to smash a vial containing a virus powerful enough to wipe out all life in the city. He tried to follow through on this threat when antagonized by Sonic, hurling the vial at the ground and screaming that he would be remembered as the one who destroyed New Tek City. Sonic was able to catch the vial in midair. Plague then threw another eight vials into the air, but Sonic was able to catch those as well. Plague was then arrested by officers of the Tek City Police Department.[1]
Personality[]
Doctor Plague is very cruel and completely insane, wanting to go down in history as the person who destroyed New Tek City. He is even willing to sacrifice his own life to make a name for himself.[1]
Powers and abilities[]
Despite his insanity, Doctor Plague is a brilliant microbiologist, able to create a virus which he claims could wipe out all life in an entire city.[1]
