The Great War is an event mentioned in the Sonic the Hedgehog television series. It is an unspecified conflict that took place on the planet Mobius.

Virtually nothing is known of the Great War, except that Dr. Robotnik, then going by the name Julian, played a heavy role in the conflict, and that it was with his aid that the Great War ended with a victory for the kingdom of Mobotropolis. In the aftermath of the Great War in the year 3224, the King decreed the closing of the War Ministry and approved Julian's plans to dismantle the military, unaware that Julian planned his own conquest of the kingdom.[1]
