Sketch Lampoon is a character that appears in the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog television series. He is an anthropomorphic pelican and the creator, author, and artist of the Crack Ups comic series.
Appearance[]
Sketch Lampoon is a tall anthropomorphic pelican with yellow feathers, and an orange beak and legs. He also has black eyes and wears a pink tie.

Season one[]

Eventually, Sketch published the latest issue of Crack Ups, in which he made fun of Dr. Robotnik by comparing him to Humpty Dumpty. Shortly thereafter, Scratch and Grounder entered his office and arrested him. He was then imprisoned in Robotnik's Rot-Your-Life-Away Dungeons. While locked in his cell, Sketch was working on the next issue of Crack Ups when Sonic himself visited him while the hedgehog was being taken to his own special security wing. Sonic praised Sketch for his parody of Robotnik, but slightly criticized the Sonic poster that came with the comic, claiming that its depiction of him should be taller. Shortly after Sonic was taken away, Robotnik entered Lampoon's cell and had him dedicate another issue of Crack Ups to Robotnik himself. Sketch tried to draw what Robotnik told him, but he did not like it one bit. Soon after though, Sonic broke free from his cell and sawed through the bars in Sketch's cell, thereby freeing Sketch. He then took Sketch and Tails with him, and they escaped the prison as it collapsed. Sketch then watched with Sonic and Tails as Dr. Robotnik lay in the rubble of his prison and could not get up, just like in Sketch's comic book.[1]
Later, Sketch Lampoon was one of the hostages that assisted Sonic's Hero of the Year ceremony.[2]
Personality[]
Sketch Lampoon is quite silly and loud, and he often laughs, giggles and whistles like a cuckoo bird. He loves to draw comics that makes him laugh, but he hates having someone impose their own vision of entertainment on him, especially if it is idealized.[1]
