For the enemy in Sonic Rush, see Rhino Cannon (Sonic Rush).

The Rhino Cannon[1] (リノキャノン[2] Rino Kyanon?) is an enemy that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a robot deployed by the Guardian Units of Nations, and a part of the Rhino Series.

Appearance[]

The Rhino Cannon resembles a Rhino Jet, but features a cannon mounted on top.

Overview[]

In Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, the Rhino Cannon stay in place and fire bombs at the player should they approach. Upon their destruction, they award the player 100 points. Additionally, their bombs are of the same type and appearance of those of the Kikis', meaning they can be picked up and thrown by the player.

The Rhino Cannon can be found in the following stages:

Character Stage
Normal mode Hard mode
Knuckles Pumpkin Hill
Rouge Dry Lagoon N/A

In other media[]

Sonic X[]

In the anime series Sonic X, the Rhino Cannon first appeared during the Shadow Saga. In this media, they were constructed after the Perfect Chaos incident to combat Dr. Eggman's forces.
