I received this video in the mail as part of a thank you package from Yuji Naka for giving them the domain It was a VHS of the official unveiling of Sonic Adventure at the Tokyo International Forum back in 1998.

This includes how Sonic Team come up with the concept of 're-envisioning' Sonic for the new generation, their trip to South America for location designs, unveiling of the six playable characters, the recording of the crowd chanting Sonic's name for the final battle of the game (lead by Segata Sanshiro), and a live performance of the ORIGINAL theme song 'Open Your Heart' before Crush 40 recorded the final version.

The video is piss poor quality because (1) I was recording from a VHS copy to computer. (2) I only had dialup at the time, so I had to mail the encoded video to Rlan, because the video was going up on his site Secrets of Sonic Team, (3) I lost the original encoded video, so I just uploaded the version that was on Secrets of Sonic Team site. (4) I would re-encode from the VHS, but the copy is currently in Florida, I am in California, so I would need to have my family mail me the video. Then I need a capture card, which I don't have right now. So if I get a chance to reupload a better copy, I will, but it WILL take a while to do.

The video is all in Japanese. If anyone wants to help translate, I will gladly put up english subs on the video.
