Robotnik organizes a track meet to lure Sonic into a trap. Robotnik is sure that Sonic will not sit out on a challenge of quickness. Sonia and Manic are also aware of Sonic's competitive nature and advise Sonic not to enter the event due to the risk that he may be caught. When Sonia and Manic cannot find Sonic, they head to the race to rescue him. Surprisingly, Sonic does not enter the race, but finds himself involved in a more challenging test of speed - the race to save his brother and sister.

Trivia[]

SU Human

The unnamed human girl.

  • When Sonic is running to join the race, he briefly passes by a human girl. This girl has light skin and purple hair, and wears a white dress, open-toed sandals and opera-length gloves. This marks the only appearance of a human in the main Sonic Underground dimension besides Dr. Robotnik.
  • The main plot of this episode is extremely similar to that of the Sonic the Hedgehog television series episode "Sonic Racer". Both episodes involve Robotnik using Sonic's ego to lure him into a fake race, despite it being an obvious trap.
  • The girl Bartleby was talking to is identical to Mindy LaTour, but with a different color scheme: her nose and hair are blue, her fur is a pale shade of tan, and her outfit is green with yellow and orange accents.
