Panrico is a Spanish food company in the bakery and bread roll market.[1] The company was founded in 1962 by Andrés Costafreda, where he started the production and commercialization of donuts in Spain.[2] In 1970, Panrico started producing Bollycao; a small sweet bread roll/bun stuffed with Nutella. Over the years, Sega has done promotions with Panrico's Bollycao.
Bollycao (1992)[]
In 1992, Sega started a promotion with Panrico in which collectible stickers based on Sega Mega Drive, Sega Master System, and Game Gear games were available with their Bollycao, and pins based on Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and a Sega Mega Drive could be won. The promotion lasted for two years and a total of one hundred and sixteen stickers were available.[3] Sixty stickers were available from the first set in 1992, and fifty were available from the second set in 1993. The fifty from 1993 featured twenty-six detachable stickers which could make up a Sonic themed alphabet, among other Sonic themed stickers.
