Description[]

Appearance[]

Speed Star Plane

The Speed Star's airplane mode, from Sonic the Hedgehog #271.

The Speed Star is a blue and streamline convertible. In the middle, it has two equal-sized depressions in both sides and a large fin above each of the hind wheels. On the front, it has a figure of Sonic's head and a large, almost obtuse "U" shaped clear section with four bulbs inside it, two built on the right and left stacked on one another. The wheels of the vehicle are black with red wheel covers and a white line across them. In airplane-mode, it sprouts wings with jet exhausts from the underside, removes the wheels, reveals a fin each jet exhaust and replaces the front bumper with a nose cone.

Features and abilities[]

The Speed Star is able to transform itself into an airplane as well as a convertible, allowing for both aerial and ground-travel.[1]
