The Spiker is a character that appears in the 1992 edition of The Official Sonic the Hedgehog Yearbook. It is a mass-produced, crab-based Badnik model made by Dr. Robotnik.
Appearance[]
Spikers are modeled after hermit crabs, and thus, have crab-like legs and a metallic grey "shell" they live in. They also have red faces with black eyes.
History[]
Spikers were one of two native Hill Top Zone Badnik models (the other being Rexons) to threaten Sonic. One Spiker fired its cone directly at Sonic but failed. A Spiker later carried a frozen Sonic out of a hole, but got destroyed by a Spin Attack when Sonic got out.[1]
Powers and abilities[]
Spikers are capable of launching their cones as projectiles.[1]
