Super Shrink Ray
Super Shrink Ray is an object that appears in the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog television series. It is a machine that has the ability to change people and objects to a smaller size.
Description[]
Just as easily the Super Shrink Ray can restore anything to its original size. It runs on a 50,000 watt battery which looks very similar to Grounder's head. When it shrinks something, it also has the ability to levitate the shrunken object and transport it to another location.
History[]
After Dr. Robotnik completed his Super Shrink Ray, he used it on Mole Mountain in order to enslave the miners and keep their coal for himself. When doing this, he unintentionally shrunk Sonic and Tails who were helping at the mine. After the shrunken heroes physically got into the brains of Scratch and Grounder, they used their "mind control over-ride" to drive their robot bodies. While controlling Scratch and Grounder, the duo used the Shrink Ray to restore themselves, Mole Mountain and everything else back to normal proportions. In addition, Sonic and Tails used the ray to shrink Robotnik, smaller than a bug.[1]
