Taihei Sato (佐藤 大平, Taihei Sato^?) is a Japanese game music composer and sound designer who has done work for the Sonic the Hedgehog series.

History

In the past, Taihei Sato worked for Data East, Sammy, Sega, SuperSweep and Unique Note. He entered Sega in 1996 as a design engineer following his university studies in Acoustic Engineering and surround sound technology. He was also the sound designer for the game Le Mans 24 after successfully recreating the sounds of a car engine. In the Sonic the Hedgehog series, he composed and arranged the music for several cutscenes in Sonic the Hedgehog (2006).
