Tidal Tempest is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a Zone located on Little Planet.

Description[]

In the present, Tidal Tempest consists in some underwater ruins located near some volcanoes. It is covered by some ruins, and yellow stone with circles acts as platforms for it. Some gray pillars are also found here.[1]

In the past, Tidal Tempest was mostly the same, with the stone being lime and the pillars looking intact.[1]

When Dr. Eggman re-wrote history to his own image in the future, Tidal Tempest was turned into a mechanized plant with gray stone, which was filled with pink water that resembled the Mega Muck. However, after Sonic the Hedgehog made a "good future", Tidal Tempest was turned into a light blue, futuristic aquarium, with plants decorating the place, and magenta stone covering it.[1]

History[]

While trying to save Little Planet from Dr. Eggman, Sonic the Hedgehog came to Tidal Tempest and accidentally went to the future version of the Zone via a Time Warp sign. Shocked by what he saw, he then traveled to the past with another Time Warp sign and found a Badnik Factory. Realizing that Dr. Eggman was going to use the Time Stones to invade the past (or already had by that point), he destroyed the machine and returned to the future, realizing that he had made a "good future".[1]
