Timestream

The Time Stream, from Sonic the Comic #146. Art by Nigel Dobbyn.

The Time Stream is a phenomenon that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. It is a portal on an unnamed planet.

Description[]

On New Year's Eve, a new member of the Spirits of the Years Past enters the Time Stream in order to "guide the new year on its intended course". Before the next New Year, the spirit will then return to their home world for the next to take over. The one to enter the Time Stream must be the one that represents the coming year; if a past spirit enters, time will fold in on itself and it would be the end of time.[1]

History[]

When it was time for 1999 to enter the Time Stream, 1930 went crazy and wished for time to be restored to how he remembered it. Distracting 1999, 1930 went for the Time Stream, his actions summoning the Time Waster as a result. However, Amy Rose, having been summoned by the Ring of Eternity, changed 1930's mind and 1999 was free to enter the Time Stream as scheduled.[1]
