The Fishing Rod[citation needed] is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is Big the Cat's signature item that he is always carrying with him. As well as for fishing, Big can also use his Fishing Rod as a weapon.

Description[]

The Fishing Rod is an object based on real-world fishing rods. Although its design varies between games and artworks, it is generally a yellow reed with black stripes. The Fishing Rod also includes a handle that is light orange and has a red reel. It has a long, thin line, along with a green, orange and black fish-shaped lure.
