Hello, everybody. I'm not really a big sonic fan but I'm just curious about this. I tried this on a genuine copy of Sonic CD on a sega mega-drive, and it actually worked. I can't find any documentation of it on this wiki and I'd just like to add it somewhere. Maybe someone who knows more about this could explain what the japanese message means?
unrelated, but is the sonic generations collector's edition worth a purchase of £60? - Tehtumpi 17:54, November 30, 2011 (UTC)

Okay, thank you. I just read the link provided, I was surprised when it said:

In Japanese (even English version) a verse is written (Translated Fun is Eternity SEGA Enterprises - Majin) and a human sonic is in the background.

I'm sorry, but that altered sonic sprite doesn't even remotely resemble a normal human being. What sick f*** at Sega thought it'd be a good idea to have this? They probably scarred some little kids for life. Even if it WERE an anti-piracy screen, it would still be a HORRIBLE idea. - Tehtumpi 18:35, November 30, 2011 (UTC)

Don't swear. The face is human-like, though the body isn't. Myself 123 18:41, November 30, 2011 (UTC)

I apologise, it's kind of like when you drop a large object on your foot with a five year-old in the room. Even though you can't stop yourself, you know that it is un-reasonable. But I examined that image close-up, and it does look kind of like a guy-fawkes mask, but it does look only vaguely human. Anyway, I reckon it was inserted by a disgruntled programmer to show his frustration at Sega, by defacing their character. - Tehtumpi 18:53, November 30, 2011 (UTC)

What if Sega didn't knew about this easter egg?--Mystic Monkey sez 04:26, December 1, 2011 (UTC)
