Im just wondering.
Any fans of Adventure Fields around here?
While I did like the HUB stages in Sonic Unleashed, in fact I am greatful for them as they expand Sonic's world further and you can learn of Sonic's world cultures from the things you cna buy in the shops. The only complain I have about them were that they were rather small but I still enjoyed what they had to offer like scenic views and the details the 3D modellers put into them. But the Adventure Fields I am on about are the ones in Sonic Adventure and Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) where you can fully explore a wide environment.
My favourite Adventure Fields are Mystic Ruins and Forest of Soleanna which offered plenty of leg-room to run about in a nature environment. My guess the reason why Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic Heroes, Sonic Colours and Sonic Generations didn't include Adventure Fields is because not everyone likes them, I guess some have trouble finding the next Action Stage or something or rather be doing A to B runs than enjoy freedom of exploring. I like Adventure Fields and taking part in Next-Gen's civilians missions would of been much more fun if not for the ridiculous loading times and errors. Despite being disliked I was hoping more Adventure Fields than just White Space in Sonic Generations, especially the oppotunity to look around Green Hill at my own leisure because a lot of detail and scenary has gone into each level which makes it replay value enough, but with timers and goals you don't really have enough time to stop and admire the view.
So any Adventure Field fans? Do you hope for Adventure Fields in future Sonic games?--Mystic Monkey is a proud MonoBook Wikian. 20:15, April 29, 2012 (UTC)
I wouldn't mind seeing them back. I enjoyed them. --The Shadow Of Darkness 20:45, April 29, 2012 (UTC)
I loved them in Adventure especially with the tasks to get to levels (like blowing up that Kiki near Red Mountain. And the Chao Gardens. The 06 ones were okay. My favorites would have to be Station Square and New City. --23:21, April 29, 2012 (UTC)
- New City was fun to explore. Felt a bit like those open sandbox city games though I knew full well it wasn't.--Mystic Monkey is a proud MonoBook Wikian. 18:53, April 30, 2012 (UTC)
