I support. When I'm on a new tab, it takes a few minutes for the chat to say I'm away. An AFK button sounds useful for when you want the chat to know you're away right when you're away. MetalMickey272

I like this idea, as I am often in another tab. Also, might I suggest another option? Would it be possible if the chat could ping you if your username is mentioned, or if you receive a PM? This could make the tab flash or something. Might be helpful, as when I'm in another tab, I never notice if anyone asks me anything or PMs me until it's pointed out to me. I replaced the coding I just added with the AFK coding from SFW. I went on their chat to see how it works exactly, but I don't see a AFK button on there.
