Well, they should because it was the first level ever in the first ever Sonic game and it has become very popular. Sure it has been reintroduced many times; it has been turned into similar levels like Emerald Hill Zone and Neo Green Hill Zone, it has been made into an extra 3D stage in Sonic Adventurer 2 Battle, and it has been made a 3D battle field/court in games like Super Smash Bros. Brawl and SEGA Super Stars Tenis. I've played the first act of it on the SEGA Genisis Collection on the PSP and thogh I didn't last even 30 seconds I still loved the level and wanted to play it again (unfortunatly it belonged to my friend and I only had enough time to play it for 3 minutes untill the school bell rang, yes I died that easily). I still love the level, I play as Sonic in the Green Hill Zone battle stage on SSBB, and I am currently trying to unlock it on Sonic Adventure 2 Battle (not as easy as it sounds). But it is not enough. I want to play in it in today's new modern high-def graphics inginering with an even newer remixed version of the music (imagine a Green Hill Zone level in Sonic Unleased). And it should look like the way it did in SEGA Super Stars Tenis (it was awsom, it stunk that I was lmited to only the court). If they make another game or the PS3, X-Box 360, Wii, etc, it should have a newer redefined remastered and remodeled Green Hill Zone and have it as an offical level (even an extra level if necessary). And it shoud not come back as a limited battle field either, it should be a full on Running level with acts and missions an a neat boss battle (just like Sonic Unleashed). This isn't just my oppinion, I know there are some serious Green Hill fans out there who agree with me, so come on down to this forum and tell me what you think. If enough people agree with me I might be able to make a penetition/survey to bring back Green Hill Zone as a RUNNABLE level. Im as much fan of the zone as anyone, just Green Hill Zone is part of South Island... though in Chronicles it became part of Central City. I prefer it much part of a remote island than the mainland (I pressume). One time I did see this youtube video on an early 3D Sonic game which took place in an early three-dimentional Green Hill Zone, but it was more of a perspective. The graphics looked similar of Flicky Island or something like that. If anyone knows what it is, please tell me.--Sonic the Hedgehog! 08:50, 22 June 2009

It didn't exactly look like that, it was more like in a perspective where you see nothing but Sonic's back and the graphics look really early and a whole lot worse than the image that you pointed out, but thanks for helping. And I would like a quick recap on the alternate Green Hill Zones, maybe I might find the one I was talking about.
