i'm trying to deafeat the illusion of arthur after defeating lancelot (flail like crazy) gawain (the jump slice thing) and percival (play up defense and timing). i know what i need to do, i just need some pointers on how to do it.The Chosen One Of Fire 23:24, 10 April 2009 (UTC)

srry cant help u, dont even own it....lucky Dawn the Hedgehog 19:41, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

I have same problem right after round 2 when he gains that aura, I can attempt to attack but can't get the timing right.--Mystic Monkey 00:42, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

Wait, which illusion of Arthur? I've finished the game, so I must've done it, whatever it is... is this the one in Faraway Avalon? The Doctor... IS IN Molten Scandium 01:31, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
Yeah once you get all the swords and take another whack at Artie.--Mystic Monkey 01:55, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
AH, yes. That boss was almost as hard as the Molten Mine 'Don't touch the ground' mission. *Grumble*...
Anyway, the thing to realise is that he ALWAYS swings in the same sequence. You've just got to wait until the little tilting Wiimote pops up on the screen to tell you to hit (obviously). I seem to remember that the third and the fifth you have to strike him the moment he finishes reeling from the previous strikes.
Essentially, it's just a matter of practice. Learn the sequence and you'll make it through. The Doctor... IS IN Molten Scandium 02:03, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
I noticed his sword glows, when is the best colour to swing at?--Mystic Monkey 02:19, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
I didn't pay any attention to Deathcalibur, honestly. I just looked at the top of the screen for the blue Wiimote icon. The Doctor... IS IN Molten Scandium 02:36, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
'k, I'll try it tommorow, I haven't touched Black Knight because of Artie, I'll let you know how it goes.--Mystic Monkey 02:50, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
I've tried that strategy. It failed. SLJCOAAATR Soul 01:28, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

Worked for me. Conclusion is: SLJ sux. The Doctor... IS IN Molten Scandium 01:53, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

Thank you this tip really helped me! I haven't beat the black knight yet it just takes time. You know what I was screaming at my game because caliburn would not shut up and I said, "Caliburn, shut your english mouth!" no offense to brits. So yeah, sir lancelot aka sir shadow i heard after i beat the black knight 4 the second time, i'm suppose to battle sir shadow again , aww great, i hate fighting with the ones you love...Kit the Cat

Lancelot Returns is hard. Especially because I never, ever, ever win the sword-crossing duels you have. And he just Chaos Blasts you, like, all the time. My method for beating him was still the same method I used for all the other Knights of the Round Table battles, though; just swing and jump wildly the entire time, and eventually you get lucky. Might be about the 30th try, but EVENTUALLY you get lucky. The Doctor... IS IN Molten Scandium 21:36, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
There's a second battle with Lancelot?! Sweet! I actually owned at the KOTRT fights. At the begining, I charge at them, like they do, at the last possible second, I jump over them, act like I'm going past them, slide back, start swinging like crazy (But unlike those N00bs, I don't break tvs, cars, wondows, bones, pets, faces, or Wii's, cause I swing with STYLE.) Stop after they do one of their retardd taunts, when they're weak, jump back, all the way to the end, jump up foward when they catch up to me, land back-wards, use guard, wait 15 seconds, and strike a few more times. ... @_@ ...
I clearly do not know how to play this game. Seriously, with my method I'd do just as well with my EYES CLOSED, that's how adaptive it is.
Then again, I've beaten King Arthur on Avalon. So which of us is truly doing it right? :P The Doctor... IS IN Molten Scandium 22:00, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
You wan to know who's playing it right? Look out your window. SLJCOAAATR Soul 22:45, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

Yep, forgot I had the Wiimote symbol to help, it took a few tries to reconise the pattern but I did it!--Mystic Monkey 22:17, 20 April 2009 (UTC)

For "The docter" Lancelot returns is easy all you have to do is a dash jab then as he is falling do a back tap on the wii numchuck while swinging for the jumping attack as your in the air swing for the air attack he will fall, then repat step 2 and you have a 5 star seriousley it only takes like 12 seconds, arther is also easy just swing when his sword glows... and dose anyone know how to do the "rush hour" bord i can't not hit any of the vilagers it's so anoying. Thx =) Sonic lover 18:19, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

WOOOT! I BEAT SONIC AND THE BLACK KNIGHT LAST NIGHT! WOOOOOOOT! *ahem* Anyway, this game rocks, music rocks, gameplay rocks, and Excalibur sonic is awesome. The last boss was easy, all you have to do is dodge and time your swings. So am i the only girl here who has this game and have beaten it?--Kit the Cat

I completed it... a dude though.--Mystic Monkey 00:16, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
