Are the following categories necessary? Most of them i'd say no to.
- Singles
- Consoles
- Handhelds
- Classic/Dreamcast/Modern era. (for anything, chronoligally, not just games)
- Articles that have already been featured (I actually like this one)

- Yes.
- Yes.
- Yes.
- Yes.
- Not really.
- It really doesn't hurt to have precise categories. Too few categories can get cluttered very quickly, and it's easier to find things when they're categorized properly. I'd rather search a small, specific category for an article I can't remember the name of, rather than slog through a huge, generalized category. Trak Nar Ramble on 06:57, December 12, 2012 (UTC)
- K, guess I should make the first four then? Or wait for other to approve? TheAwesomefroggy (talk) 23:06, December 12, 2012 (UTC)
I'd say yes to the second and third suggestions. The only reason I'm not supporting the first category is because I have no idea what that means. We do not need the era categories. And we already have a featured article category. Twinkle Snow Unleash Christmas 2013 18:42, December 13, 2012 (UTC)
- Yes, because they exist and so far we've been lumping them in with albums.
- No, because it's covered by Systems.
- No, because it's also covered by systems.
- No, because I don't see any reason for it whatsoever.
- No, because it already exists. -- Supermorff (talk) 19:00, December 13, 2012 (UTC)
- There wasn't a real reason for #4. Just seein' if anyone else likes the idea. TheAwesomefroggy (talk) 23:34, December 13, 2012 (UTC)
Is a Crush 40 category necessary? TheAwesomefroggy (talk) 09:55, January 6, 2013 (UTC)
- I assume you mean a 'Songs by Crush 40' category? Not necessary; I'd personally prefer just to list the relevant songs on the Chrush 40 page. But it's also not something I'd get worked up about if it was there. -- Supermorff (talk) 14:14, January 6, 2013 (UTC)
