Well '''I'm''' keen on the idea. But that's just you guys' opinions. But let's just wait and see. What if Sega and Nintendo arn't as buddy-buddy as they appear to be since Sega's fall? I had this theory ever since Super Mario Galaxy came out.

What if before SMG, Sega had an idea for a game starring Ristar, a star who travel the depths of space seeking new planets and such, and had stretchy arms to defend himself and to travel.

If you noticed in Mario Galaxy, gravity isn't just a gameplay element but the use of propulsion, such as star launchers and blue stars which draws you closer. These forms of propulsion were present in the original 2D Ristar games only instead of gravity it uses Ristar's arms.

My guess that Miyomoto knew in advance of this Ristar game and either began work on Mario Galaxy or Nintendo asked Sega to back off the idea.

The only evidense I have to support this idea is this guy. He is the only evidence because his gameplays and control even his speed is ideal for Ristar. Don't just say "Hey, his arms are stretchy like Ristar", go and play the original Ristar game and compare Sonic the Werehog to him in basic movements like walking and jumping.

My second evidence is The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. It was released before Sonic Unleashed but people still mocked Sonic saying Unleashed is Sega's answer for Twilight Princess.

Comparing his games as answers to Nintendo's game pisses me off.

If you checked the dates of the games, you'll find that Sonic Unleashed is in the middle of Mario Galaxy and Twilight Princess. Galaxy after Unleashed.

I know this is a weak theory but it is still a possible theory if you think about it. After all, we know Miyamoto is an alright guy, but what do we not know about him? (OK, silly question but you get what I mean)--Mystic Monkey sez 17:40, April 12, 2010 (UTC)

When it comes to gaming companies, each group is going to try to top one another, whether it be doing something the other company didn't, or doing things similar to what they've done. Of course Sega and Nintendo aren't buddy-buddy. It's all about money, and money is ultimately what's going to end their "partnership." -- Shelly the Hedgehog Amy to ShellyI'm not a monkey! 04:07, April 13, 2010 (UTC)

Just what if Nintendo games are not as original as they are adored for and at the expense of Sega who Sonic is critisizing for ripping Wolf Link.--Mystic Monkey sez 10:27, April 13, 2010 (UTC)

There's a strong possibility your theory is correct. This bitter rivalry between the two co.'s may not be over with as people think. I suspect one day, one of them is gonna sue the other for something involving the "Mario & Sonic Olympic Games" series. -- Shelly the Hedgehog Amy to ShellyI'm not a monkey! 04:04, April 14, 2010 (UTC)

I fear that the golden knife will be in Sega's back by Nintendo's hand. Nintendo is slowly growing more powerful by the fans and (as much as it pains me to admit) Sega is "the bitch" of Nintendo. Sure Sega will always have it's fans (Both Sonic and non-Sonic) but since Sega is reliant on Nintendo at the moment, when the time is right, Nintendo can snuff Sega when they feel is best. It is probably why some Sega games like Sonic's are better on XBox 360 or PS3 than they are on Wii because Sega wants to get outta there. However unlike Sonic Sez, they can't tell anyone else they can trust.--Mystic Monkey sez 17:22, April 14, 2010 (UTC)

Template:58SlugDrones! Oh, must have gotten the wrong order. But you believe this theory do you?--Mystic Monkey sez 21:11, April 15, 2010 (UTC)

I know that I do. -- Shelly the Hedgehog Amy to ShellyI'm not a monkey! 02:36, April 16, 2010 (UTC)

I'd rather they work together. I've waited for a Mario & Sonic adventure game for years, and if it happens, I'd be having a ball with it! xD

Sonic & Mario adventure = Win!--Akamia(Talk)(Want to see what I've been doing?) 02:43, April 16, 2010 (UTC)

You mean, like, a canon Mario & Sonic game? That'd be interesting. -- Shelly the Hedgehog Amy to ShellyI'm not a monkey! 03:40, April 16, 2010 (UTC)

Well, if Mario and Sonic had an adventure together and not not some spin-off event then perhaps that would proove there is nothing suspicious or it would be an excellent ploy to cover up if they can worm Sega into the agreement. I'll go with it being a ploy cover up. Im not keen on the idea of Sonic and Mairo sharing a story.--Mystic Monkey sez 04:03, April 16, 2010 (UTC)

I'm sure a lot of people do (including myself) -- Shelly the Hedgehog Amy to ShellyI'm not a monkey! 04:26, April 16, 2010 (UTC)

that would be interesting. peaple would probably start saying there copying somone else Sledge The Hedgehog 11:13, April 16, 2010 (UTC)
