Reason why the minimal stuff simply put is because the series is an immortal idea. In other words their could be a chance that whatever shippings we believe in could come to light, but the series would never base the games and franchise beyond that time. I personally support SonAmy but if that actually happens then that would pretty much be a big chunk of what makes the Sonic series special to us gone.--Mystic Monkey 22:30, 11 January 2009

Agreed. It's too likely. I can just imagine now, a M or MA rated Sonic for sex scenes and nudity. Sonci Theft Unleashed. (My random mind is working again.) Kidding. It's pushing it at a strech though. I doubt fan's will cope if anything DOES happen, and there is a high possibility that something will. Don't doubt that last point, it might happen. I mean, even though Sonic's young and all, only shadow can actually live forever, which also takes away a bit of chance for him to be with anybody, so who knows maybe it can happen. Exactly. Who knows what Sega is planning to do with Sonic? All we know is that Shadow is the only immortal character, so that covers one pathway. Sonic, Amy, Tails, Knuckles, all of them are bound to time. Therefore, we should see an new generation sometime in the next couple of decades. Flashfire212 06:57, 25 January 2009 (UTC)

Too true, Shadow is the only character that can't die, well if you exclude Omega but technically he's a robot so he only needs to be repaired to stay activated. And if you think about it, not only does Amy already like Sonic but he's also the only hedgehog character that won't cause any complications if Amy becomes his girlfriend Jrgumban 09:05 (UTC)

Exactly. Unless Sega decide that more immortal characters might prove useful. (Unlikely.) It's a good point about Amy and Sonic. I have a friend who does amazing drawings. I got him to look at an image of Silver and images of Shadow, Amy and Sonic. He told me that Silver's spines looked like Amy's. This could be importent, or it could just mean that Silver's spines look like Amy's. Nothing can be made of this, yet. I have to agree about the Amy/Sonic theory. You know, surprisingly I didn't notice that at first, and normally its easy for me to notice things like that, I pretty much just jumped at that theory, but now that I look at it that way, you're right. True there isn't really much proof wether he might be Sonic and Amy might be his ancsestors. But really if Sonic's fur was white, or if Silver's was a shade of either blue, purple or red(pink applies but unlikely for a guy) there may just be a fight about wether they were related or not. Don't forget mutations of the DNA. We arn't talking about an immediate decendant here, but a plausible great-grandson for Sonic. Had he killed Sonic, he would cease to exist and the dead grandfather paradox starts. Anyway. There would be breeding between other hedgehogs and Sonic's kids to get generation 3. Gen 3 would breed with other hedgehogs to get Gen 4. I don't know whether Silver is a direct decendant (Gen 2), a semidirect decendant (Gen 3) or a distant relation (Gen 4+). Genetics change from generation to generation. Due to this, the more generations between Silver and Sonic, the more colour variety and eye colours filter in. That's why I would place Silver in generation 3+. I'm not sure if you understand my point, but I'll have to think about an easyer way of putting it. Flashfire212 00:47, 26 January 2009 (UTC)

Believe me, when one of your best freinds has a doctor for a father, what you just said is among one of the simplest things to understand. And I guess it would make sence considering that Silver didn't seem to know that killing Sonic would end up making him disappear, but for something like that to happen, he would need to have been generation 4+. Did Eggman Nega claims to be Grandson or Great Grandson of Robotnik? I can't recall but if he states then chances are that the relationship between Eggman Nega and Robotnik is same as Silver and Sonic... Ok well it looks like the newest topic now is wether or not Silver could possibly be Sonic's decsendant, but then considering all the facts, it does seem very likely now doesn't it. The only real contradiction is that Silver didn't disappear when Mephiles killed Sonic, but then again maybe that was because he was bound to be revived. Jrgumban 10:30, 28 January 2009

The only evidense to support the relation is that they look a like, though most hedgehogs seem to share common traits like cycloptic eyes that always look serious. Even all Hedgehog fan characters look a like since they are originally based on Sonic, heck we could say Mighty can be related to Sonic when all they have in relation is that Mighty was Sonic's Beta design. I have to say that Sonic might have a secret crush on Amy but wont let it show. The reason I'm thinking that is because the information about Amy Rose in the instruction booklet of Sonic Heroes says that in Sonic's heart he probably doesn't dislike her that much.
