Whats your favourate control pad? I dunno between the Sega Saturn Analogue Controller which I admit do not own but reminds me of the DreamCasts only with 2 extra buttons which may come in handy. I also prefer the PlayStation's DualShock pads due to fitting comfortably into the hands and I find the Xbox 360 Controller more practical than it's Predecessors which had too many buttons. Another reason I am asking this question is because as you heard me say many times before, I wanna make games and fan games, Im also considering my fan games have original gameplay controls and wanna know (Even those who play with gamepads on there PCs) what method of controls you prefer the most.--Mystic Monkey 00:07, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

I'm torn between the 360 controller and the Wiimote/Wiimote+Nunchuck. I have used all three.--Akamia(Talk)(Want to see what I've been doing?) 02:41, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

Hm, thought the Wiimote is good, it's more for active players. I am not saying I am not active, just not enough room to be active, plus I don't think you can use a Wiimote on the PC.--Mystic Monkey 19:54, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

PS3 Duelshock all the way! Its gameplay on Sonic Unleashed was awsome and a PS2 was the first game system I got so a Sony style gameplay deffintaly works for me. Wii remote and Knunchuk work well, too (except for Sonic and the Secret Rings), I've never used an X-Box or the 360 version either (well, one exception is when I roamed Soleana as Sonic when I was over at, well something that had a X-Box 360 demo), and my brother and I have played Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on a SEGA console and since it was strait forward it was pretty easy (although we had to chose from either one of three buttons to jump, and they all did the same function, but then again you're less accident-prone that way). My advice for the fan game though, Sony Dualshock, and include the Speed Boost button, it is really fun! It might also function as a special move button for other characters (but don't chose triangle for special actions, otherwise Square Enix might sue you). You know like Sonic - Speed Boost, Tails - Tail Swipe/Dummy Rings, Knuckles - Super Punch/Dig, Amy - Hammer Swing, etc. Think about it for a while.--Sonic the Hedgehog! 02:53, 21 June 2009

I admit the DuelShock pad fits very comfortable with hands and can make use with the concept that the analogue stick, when pressed down (Not pointed down), is a button in it's own right which for fan game ideas I would find useful.--Mystic Monkey 00:48, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
