Well, I thought red background with the Sonic's coloured green and the white outline they already had would make it lovely but if it'll cause problems then I guess best not. Well, maybe. Problem is that I don't think I can make the heads different colours from the background. I could make the whole thing green, or the whole thing red, but in either case I think it wouldn't be obvious that it was a Christmas theme and it would detract from the idea that this is a Sonic site. If you can get the image (look on my user page for link if you need to download it) to look good, then I can make it the background. Monaco doesn't exist any more, so not much point doing anything with that. I can very easily change the background of Monobook if you want me to - it's just I haven't done that yet. The problem is, I have changed the Wikia skin background using the stupid new 'theme designer', but it seems as though some people can't see the difference. I have no idea why. No, because it won't help, because the theme designer, which is now the only mechanism by which the background can be changed, only connects to one filename, which is File:Wiki-background. Quick question: Are we moving wikia to Monobook? I saw what Monobook is like, and it OK. The only problem is it's kind of difficult to keep track of certain things and adding images.
