Okay, can you guys help me? i'm trying to upload a sonic fan creation that i made with MS paint and put it on my profile, but whenever i try to upload it, it keeps saying, "you were attempting to download an illegal file". so basically, what i am asking is this: How did you guys upload your fan characters? PrincessDaisy: Hi there well that happned to me today to! Just go to images on google and search up your Pic that u drew then save it on ur My Picture's!
then u upload it on ur profile and then were all happy!!! ^-^

The thing is that Wikia won't let you upload images with a .bmp extension. You'll have to turn the image into a .jpeg, .png, or .gif if you want the Wiki to accept it. -- Shelly the Hedgehog

Go to Paint, open your picture, and then click on "Save As". At the bottom of the small window that pops up, there will be a box that says "Save as type:" and it'll give you different options (the .jpg, .png and .gif extensions) then you can try uploading it again and it should work. -- Shelly the Hedgehog I'm not a monkey! 03:09, April 5, 2010 (UTC)

@Tdotkrayz: If you don't like Sonic than why bother coming onto this Wiki? @Multiverseman: Listing your files as "Paint" files won't help either. Paint.net may try to getyou to save yu pics like that, so you gotta make sure that your files are the right type in which yo wanna save them as. If you can't remember which file types can be uploaded onto here, than you can go click the"Upload new picture" button, and the types ofm pics that you can upload should be listed a the upload page.
