I'm a bit confused. Are you referring to making a character template, which is what we use on the majority of our character articles (here is an example of an article that uses the character template, and here is an example of a character article that doesn't have the character template), or are you asking on how to make an entire page to write on?

Well, that's not a character template but i think i understand what you mean. When you're editing, there should be a template section in the tool bar on the right. Click on the option that says add other templates. There should be a bar for you to type things in. Type in "infobox" and enter it. Then enter the information you want and publish it.
