Why does sega keep brining in new character's to sonic the hedgehog its a great game already...NO NEED FOR CHANGES!

I dunno why either when we have some good ol' forgotten classics like Nack or Mighty. Still the most recent characters are Chip, who I am suprise has quite a fan base despite now being sealed in the Earth. Just new characters are unnecisary since what is wrong with the old ones, like Mighty? It's like a compulsive order to replace and continue. Would it be alright if Sonic the Hedgehog was replaced with a hip new faster character?--Mystic Monkey sez 23:54, February 19, 2010 (UTC)

There haven't been all that many new characters, Chip and Shade are already a year+ old, before that was Marine and she's 2 and a ½ years old now (and needs to come back!)

I'm aboard the "bring Mighty back" fanclub, why they got rid of him in the first place is beyond me, but the Chaotix ain't full unless he's there.

I don't think Mighty is or was an actual member of Chaotix, he was more of an honorary member, you know not an actual member of Chaotix but still assosiates with them, simular to Sonic but he usually does his own thing than relate or Chaotix.--Mystic Monkey sez 19:13, February 21, 2010 (UTC)

Well, take into account that Knuckles Chaotix had little story at the time. Mighty's story is that he just so happened to have found the island (Japanese) or was with Knuckles at the time (Western). While the team could have been formed during or after the adventure, Mighty seemed to have went off to his own and met Ray and Sonic (SegaSonic the Hedgehog) while in Sonic Heroes he wasn't even mentioned. So I think both he and Knuckles are at least honourary members of Chaotix, but not actual members.--Mystic Monkey sez 19:46, February 21, 2010 (UTC)

Well 1st you can't prove he wasn't a Chaotix member he easily could be. He couldn't have been in Sonic Heroes because there can't be 4 people and he wasn't mentioned because they were on a mission so that's all they were thinking about so I think he is a Chaotix member55 skcoR ezalB 19:51, February 21, 2010 (UTC)

Well you can't proove he is either. Not to mention Sonic Heroes was the return of Chaotix after 8 years so you would think they would of said something about Mighty after all these years. Especially during events after Heroes like Shadow's game, Rivals 2 and you would of expcted someone to mention it in Chronicles. Same goes for Sonic X, X is closest to the games since it attempted to copy key game events like Sonic Adventure games so you would expect a discussion there too (Even the critters who are older than Mighty made an apperance in X). Since Mighty seem to be on the cutting room floor, if he did made a come back, to Chaotix where would he fit in now? If he was and still is a member of Chaotix then after since they parted from the island reapper, where will that place him? I think he is just an adventurer like Sonic only usually solo or perhaps with Ray. Don't get me wrong, I support his return, but I think he just has close ties with Chaotix than actually being a member.--Mystic Monkey sez 20:49, February 21, 2010 (UTC)

Mighty was in the Chaotix game, it's Knuckles who isn't a member (hence the game title : Knuckles Chaotix)

Interesting tid-bit thou, Mighty was supposed to be Sonic in the game, with their design similiarities it was easy to change at the last minute (don't ask me why).

Anyway! Perhaps Mighty retired, 2 adventures were enough maybe?
