Since my fellow bureaucrats are not present at the moment and I cannot consult them, I will be making an executive decision if those involved will accept it. Two new administrators will be made: User:Sonicrox14 and User:Launchballer. I am not particulary fond of the latter decision, but he has shown that he can work hard and I am sure he will do his duty to the best of his ability. If he does not and steps out of line again, I give Kagimizu permission to strip him of his rank as admin and block him for his chosen time period. Which brings me to the next order of business: Kagimizu will be promoted to Bureaucrat status and shall keep an eye on the two new admins and, should he feel it needed, select those he feels worthy of adminship. You three may turn these positions down if you wish and I shall find someone else to take them, but do please consider my offer.Fairfieldfencer FFF 15:16, September 21, 2009 (UTC)

I disagree with you there. Sonicrox14 (talk) (contributions) should become the bureaucrat, or either Mystic Monkey (talk) (contributions) or Myself 123 (talk) (contributions) Supermorff (talk) (contributions). But yeah, I'd love to become an admin.
Kagi knows the rules well and tries to obide by them even when he doesn't like them. He's got the spirit and I think he'll do very well.Fairfieldfencer FFF 16:07, September 21, 2009 (UTC)

Thank you very much.

Launch showed me this forum (thank you, by the way), but I honestly don't know what to think. The suggestion is completely out of right field, bypasses any standard procedures the wiki may have, ignores consensus on Launchballer's nomination, and has no sort of explanation. Why are you making this executive decision? -- Supermorff 17:16, September 21, 2009 (UTC)

I have to agree with LB and Morff. I'm no beaurecrat material. I'm more than happy simply being a sysop. I personally fully believe that Shelly should be the next beaurecrat. In fact, if I were made an admin, I was gonna officially nominate Shelly for adminship. She has me outclassed in all my good points, and doesn't have any of my downsides.--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round~ 17:25, September 21, 2009 (UTC)

He's making this decision because no other bureaucrats are active, and he himself has joined another Wiki, so he needs another user to cover his position. Sonicrox14 (talk) (contributions) and Supermorff (talk) (contributions) for bureaucrat, me, Bionicleboy3000 (talk) (contributions), Myself 123 (talk) (contributions) and Mystic Monkey (talk) (contributions) as administrator.

Well, you want my honest answer? Becoming a beaurecrat here would be a dream come true. However, I just can't. You have to go with the better User, and that's Shelly. I'll take that beaurecrat nomination someday, but not before Shelly get what she's owed. Just look at featured User poll! She's first by a landslide of almost 100 votes, with 2nd place only having about 20 votes. The better User should be rewarded first.--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round~ 17:45, September 21, 2009 (UTC)

This is the problem: if you see this as a reward, then the system is going to fail. It's not a reward. It's a statement that you have demonstrated a certain level of maturity and dedication that is required to help the site ticking over. Admins don't run the place, but they do allow it to keep running. I'm not too annoyed by the decision that has been made, since I have reasonable expectations that all three will do a good job, but I am furious at the way it was made! -- Supermorff 17:54, September 21, 2009 (UTC)

I know that it isn't a reward, I was speaking figuratively; Shelly deserves to be a beaurecrat before me, pure and simple. I know that admins and beaurecrats don't run this place. They are here to make sure it continues to run smoothly, and to keep anyone from impeding the wiki's progress with vandalism of any kind. If there's no other option, I will take the beaurecrat nomination a good while after Shelly has been made beaurecrat. But if I can take sysop before then, then I'm more than happy with that.--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round~ 18:03, September 21, 2009 (UTC)

Oh, and one more thing. If Shelly is made beaurecrat or admin, can I tell her? I'm the one who got her hopes of being an admin up after all.--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round~ 18:24, September 21, 2009 (UTC)

Hardly any admins or bureaucrats are active here. These guys have what it takes. I've gone passed the line, I'll admit, but things are starting to get out of hand. We've got over 2,000 articles here and we need enough admins and users to make sure they're up to expectations and aren't vandalized. If you like, I could revert LB's adminship and call the other bureaucrats in to help with this. Molten Scandium's over at =SSMB= so I could contact him through PM, and I could easily get in touch with SLJ over at YouTube or BumbleKing. Whatever the reason, we need more admins fast.Fairfieldfencer FFF 19:25, September 21, 2009 (UTC)

Administrator Recommendations

I personally recommend Akamia for adminship. He's an experienced and reliable User, who could greatly contribute. OIne example in particular would be his explainer, which has proven to be useful for many Users. Granted, he hasn't been on in a while, but this is only because his computer broke down, and he's waiting to get a laptop. The only reason I didn't nominate him for beaurecracy is because he's often busy, and the additional responsibilties could overwhelm him.--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round~ 21:29, September 21, 2009 (UTC)

Bureaucrat Recommendations

I recommend Shelly! She has more than enough experience as a User. What's more, she started the Sonic Soundtest Wiki and was made a beaurecrat at the Shadow Spy Net, so she has experience. She's also extremely popular with the other Users, so I seriouly doubt you would find any objections.--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round~ 19:30, September 21, 2009 (UTC)

Since you've turned down the position in favour of her, I second.Fairfieldfencer FFF 19:34, September 21, 2009 (UTC)

Well, I'm willing to accept it sometime in the future, but only after those who deserve it more get it first, like Shelly, Mystic, 123, and Morff. Until then, I'm more than happy with Sysop.--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round~ 19:41, September 21, 2009 (UTC)

Molten Scandium here (pursuant to FFF's SSMB prod); I'll support Launchballer's nomination as he's kept me vaguely up to date on things even when I'm over on Retro.
Molten your alive? Anyways i'm surprised i'm up for Bureaucratcy(?) i haven't been active as of late but i do think we need more help here. Myself 123 16:53, September 30, 2009 (UTC)

How is Launchballer's tagging stuff as puppets part of adminship?! This is the only wiki that does it. Search around. CGTalk!Crashdance

The guy did a thorough search of sockpuppets and blocked people to tag all them. Imagine what he could do if he became dedicated to find sources for articles anywhere he could? There'd be E-123 Omegas all over the place. It's not the deed, but the determination and where you apply it.Fairfieldfencer FFF 19:59, September 21, 2009 (UTC)
Well some of it is wrong, idk who the hell Bix Hawk is! Some of those aren't even mine that he labeled mine. His work has been less than thorough. CGTalk!Crashdance
Granted, but he still had quite the determinating and citing sources as references in articles is much easier that proving two different accounts are owned by the same person. And already he's done a blanket block of one of the worst vandals we've ever had. He's been terrorising us for months!Fairfieldfencer FFF 20:04, September 21, 2009 (UTC)

Just a bummer I had to block 32768 innocent users in the process. Plus, the block was infinite, which I believe you have problems. Also I will be getting a PSP for my birthday (29th) so I can contribute even more.

What!? How many innocent people!? That's nuts!! Personally, I think it's better to have deal with 1 vandal rather than block thousands of peope who could contribute! With the new admins, we should have no problem with him. I'm usually the first to spot him, so when I become an admin, it'll be nice to be able to do something about it.--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round~ 21:00, September 21, 2009 (UTC)

He means in regards to IPs. He blocked all IP addresses that shared the first few digits that usual appear in "I like"'s own IP addresses. If they're not him, they'll eventually be granted a new IP address and they'll be able to contribute as much as they want. IP addresses are constantly in flux.Fairfieldfencer FFF 21:09, September 21, 2009 (UTC)

Well, alright. So long as it doesn't keep innocent people from positively contributing to the SNN, I don't have a problem with it.--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round~ 21:23, September 21, 2009 (UTC)

I can believe Launchballer blocked all those IPs!! We lose a lot of good contributors like that! Even if they're vandals, dosen't everyone deserve a second chance? I don't even think "iLike" deserved to be blocked!! Just stopped! I'm horrified of what will become of the wiki if we elect admins like that... -- Shelly the Hedgehog Amy to Shelly 23:49, September 21, 2009 (UTC)

I second that motion Shelly. Why do you think I fell you'd make a great beaurecrat? We need more admins and beaurecrats like you, Mystic, and Morff, and less admins like LB.--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round~ 00:22, September 22, 2009 (UTC)

Thank you, Kagimizu. It's true, we need more admis that abide by the rules, stop making up new rules and less admins that will poitlessly tag you (Launchballer) and threaten to ban you if you make a link that's got nothing to do with Sonic. Unfairness like that is what drove away one of our founders!! my mistake he wasn't a founder but he had admin's potential! -- Shelly the Hedgehog Amy to Shelly 00:42, September 22, 2009 (UTC)p.s. kagi this is the part where you say "testify, sister!" xD

Unfortunately, that was the extent of the vandalism.
That's the procedure over at Wikipedia for this kind of thing. I don't like it very much myself, but that guy just wouldn't stop and we have to ready for when he's done messing up Arwingpedia and comes back here. But you guys still haven't answered by question; Do you guys want me to call in SLJ and Molten Scandium to help with this matter?Fairfieldfencer FFF 08:20, September 22, 2009 (UTC)

Well, I thought you were gonna do that anyway. But if you need us to answer, then yeah, call 'em in. If not to discuss this, then to get some more all too neccessary admins around here.--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round~ 13:58, September 22, 2009 (UTC)

Fx3, I honestly think you are acting for the good of SNN. However, electing LB as an admin ticked off most users here, and what's more, saying"I don't exactly agree with the latter" probably just ticked off lb and brought you lower in some users' eyes. going back on your desision to adminify lb would probably make matters a whole hellstorm worse, so your in some very toasty water here (not from me, just trying to be nuetral and help out the wiki). The Chosen One Of Fire 13:52, September 22, 2009 (UTC)

Well, Fire has a point. Talkin to most of the Users I know, they all agree. And quite honestly, so do I. Not only do I believe that LB needs a personality overhaul before getting any admin abilities, but I also recall hearing that an admin must be liked, and able to get along with most Users. Now quite honestly, has LB demonstrated this?--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round~ 14:03, September 22, 2009 (UTC)

I don't think I would want the vandals to like me. I know I'm not liked very much here, so "I don't exactly agree with the latter" I am already aware of. Don't forget, I haven't exactly been abusing the rights, have I?

In fact I'd rather the vandals. Because at the end of the day, I'm their blocker.
Listen, I've had several talks with LB regarding his attitude, and I am personally seeing to it that someone with more power than him is here. But the guy has the drive and could do real good editing here. He just needs to conduct himself better. Seriously, you've seen how much effort this guy puts into his work. Don't you think if he applied that effort to other articles, it could really make them better?Fairfieldfencer FFF 16:44, September 22, 2009 (UTC)

Well, I agree with LB on the vandals and the blocking, and I guess that so long as he changes his attitude and there's someone to reel him in if he gets out of line, I'm not entirely against it. But just one thing though: since none of the other nominations got the admin rights, is it really fair for LB to have his until there's an official ruling?--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round~ 17:09, September 22, 2009 (UTC)

Well, I guess it's kind of a moot point now anyway. If we bureaucrats took it to a vote, LB'd still be granted admin status since both Molten and I think him worthy of it. All that's left to decide is who the other admins should be and if we are all agreed that you and Bionicleboy should be them and Shelly should be the new bureaucrat, then that's settled.Fairfieldfencer FFF 17:26, September 22, 2009 (UTC)

Well, I guess. But what about the other Beaurecrat nominations? Just curious.--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round~ 17:38, September 22, 2009 (UTC)

"God forbid"? HA! Like I'm any use around here anyway. Anyway, only one bureaucrat is essential at the moment and Shelly seems to be the one for the job by how you guys talk about her. Just need at least SLJ or Molten to support the decision as well. Right now, I think we should abandon the usual way of making admins and get it done in the quickest and cleanest way possible.Fairfieldfencer FFF 20:19, September 22, 2009 (UTC)

I see this went far in just two days. 0.0 Sorry for my very long recent absence. Just kinda...Lost interest in Wikia, as a whole. But yeah, I'll support this. We do need some more admins, now that pretty much everyone's long gone. Good luck to you guys, at both the new job, and making alot of changes to SNN, changes that I hope, will prove to be great. SLJCOAAATR 1 21:35, September 22, 2009 (UTC)

Hey SLJ, good to see you around. You see, I wanted to ask you something. I'm honored that FFF thinks I'm beaurecrat, but out of curiousity, I was wondering what you think. Now, I still believe that Shelly deserves it more than me, and I'm sticking to it, but I'd still like to know out of curiousity. Oh and BTW, SHELLY FOR BEAURECRAT!!!!!--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round~ 23:09, September 22, 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, I've been ignoring everything posted on my talk, if you haven't noticed. ;P Consider me retired for a while. I just need a good Wikia break. I'll be back someday. Someday. I think you've got it in you, though. Good luck to you. SLJCOAAATR 1 00:44, September 23, 2009 (UTC)
"If we bureaucrats took it to a vote"? *sigh* So disappointing. Bureaucrats aren't the only people on this wiki who have opinions, nor are they the only people whose votes count (no offence to any bureaus who may recently have returned after extended absensces SLJ). Continuing to act like they are will only serve to alienate people. -- Supermorff 17:23, September 23, 2009 (UTC)
I'm not saying you guys don't have opinions, but we are the ones entrusted with the power to make new admins and bureaus and I want this done as quickly as possible so you guys have as much capable support from the higher-ups as you need. But you are right. Others should have their vote too and this has actually got things to run more quickly. Time to go by the votes and give folks here a promotion.Fairfieldfencer FFF 18:16, September 23, 2009 (UTC)
