It was planned in Sonic Adventure 2 with online gardens or something. Im not sure how it works and neither did Sonic Team which is why they had it cut.--Mystic Monkey 23:24, 26 January 2009 (UTC)

Well the idea for the story based on the games is that first you design your fan character, and start off in Green Hill Zone on South Island. Though there will be Chao Gardens now and again, GHZ will be Chao Capital. Insted of emeralds people earn chao and can raise them or something. It's basically crossing the ideas of Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood Chao system with tamagotchi or such. It's still not planned out yet, I know what chronicles did with chao wasn't popular but I tihnk they were onto something.
