The release date is October 3, 2012 for both North America and Europe. Personally, I'm both pleased and dissappointed by this news. I'm pleased because all of these rumors and speculations are now true and I won't have to worry about turning the other cheek. I'm dissappointed because now I have to wait until summer vacation is over to play it so I won't be able to devote hours to playing it like I am with my other games. Unfortunately, I don't have a link to the game on xbox.com as it was taken down for reasons that I'm not aware of, but there are a lot of Sonic websites like Sonic Stadium, Sonic Retro, and Sonic Wrecks that are buzzing about it right now.

Just wondering, do you have the game for Gamecube or Dreamcast? Not that I am not guilty of buying game copies because I am a Sonic fan.
